Another successful RIN Croatian Branch workshop was held in Zagreb, Croatia on 27 February. Entitled Road Traffic Optimisation Through Road Use Charging RIN Workshop, it was jointly organised by the RIN Croatian Branch, the Faculty of Traffic and Transportation Sciences, University of Zagreb, and the Institute of Transportation and Communications, Zagreb.

Croatian Branch
The Croatian Branch is the newest Branch of the RIN to be formed, and is a mark of the RIN's increasingly international make-up. Despite its relative youth within the RIN, the Croatian Branch is very active, and has attracted four academic institutions into the Institute as Affiliated Colleges:
- Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Zagreb
- Faculty of Maritime Studies, Rijeka
- Faculty of Traffic and Transportation Sciences, Zagreb
- Croatian Society Electronics in Marine (ELMAR), Zadar
The Croatian Branch is also involved in arranging meetings and conferences.
