Maritime Traffic & Navigation Group

ContainershipThis Group brings together everyone with an interest in marine traffic on a worldwide basis. It monitors, advises and reports on safety at sea. The Group concerns itself with all aspects of marine traffic safety and research, including vessel traffic services, collision regulations, ship routeing and marine navigation systems and navigation in general.

The group has connections with government, International Maritime Organization, marine study groups, and foreign interests.
In conjunction with the Small Craft Group, the MT&NG produces a regular magazine, Fairway, which is invaluable to everyone with an interest in maritime navigation.

It also runs regular meetings, and will regularly represents the RIN at World Maritime Day.
